São Paulo – April’s 0.6% of industrial growth over March, with seasonally-adjusted numbers, shows expansion of the sector in only five of the 14 states surveyed by the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE).
The data of the Monthly Industrial Survey Regional (PIM-Regional) was made available this Friday (9) and shows that, with seasonally adjusted numbers, the sharpest growth was registered in Santa Catarina with 1.2%, which offset part of 4% decline seen in March.
