Brasília – The negative impact of the 2008-2009 financial crisis are still felt by 30% of the industrial companies. The figures reveal that 54% of the businessmen interviewed believe that the current global scenario is uncertain and companies are still facing risks; 27% of businessmen are not fearful. Of all those surveyed, 19% do not know or did not answer. Out of those who consider the current global scenario uncertain, 45% believe the negative trend should continue until the end of the next year.
According to the CNI, 31% of businessmen believe the world economic scenario will worsen in the coming six months; 36% expect the scenario to remain stable and 22% expect an improvement. To the economist Flávio Castelo Branco, CNI’s executive manager, the figures show that the aftermath of the crisis on economic activity and industry business will be prolonged with additional impact due to the ongoing crisis.
