São Paulo – Iraq and Jordan should sign a free trade agreement. According to information supplied by the Jordanian minister of Industry, Trade and Supply, Hatem Halawani, the country has made contact with Iraqi officials and arranged a free trade agreement between the two nations. According to news agency Petra, when the deal is in effect, it should increase sales of Jordanian products in Iraq.
Halawani spoke this Wednesday (19) after a delegation of Iraqi executives visited three factories in Amman, the Jordanian capital. A Jordanian economic delegation from the public and private sectors will visit Iraq later this month. The delegation will discuss ways to increase national exports to Iraq and remove obstacles in the way of such trade, according to information from Petra.
