The Brazilian mining company believes both supply and demand for the commodity will increase this year. After seeing revenues decline in the first half, the enterprise has cut costs and delivered a near-stable Ebitda.

The minister stated that in June this year, the performance was worse than in other months. The revolution in neighbouring Syria is one of the main causes for the negative result.
