São Paulo – October saw 5,164 motorcycles made at industry cluster Polo Industrial de Manaus (PIM) exported from Brazil, down 33.5% from 7,761 units shipped abroad in October 2017.
Argentina, the leading buyer, took in 52.7% of exports from Brazil, followed by the United States at 27%, Colombia at 5.7% and Australia at 2.8%.
Year-to-date through October, motorcycle exports climbed 7% to 62,200 units shipped.
