São Paulo – Qatar Airways is recruiting cabin crew in São Paulo on July 2. The Qatari carrier is holding an open day, meaning no prior registration is needed, and applicants are required to provide the paperwork and apply personally.
Candidates are required to be at least 21, to have completed high school and to have fluent English writing and speaking skills. Another requirement is a minimum arm reach of 212 centimeters on tiptoes.
Additional requirements include availability to move to Doha, the Qatari capital, and an outgoing personality with good interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a multinational team. Men and women may apply.
Candidates are to show up in formal business attire and to provide the following: a CV, a passport photocopy, a passport photograph and a full-length photograph, both in formal business attire and without glasses, plus a photocopy of their highest education certificate.
Despite the ban on Qatar Airways flights to some nearby countries, the carrier said in a statement that most of its routes are operating regularly.
On June 14 the airline said that in the preceding week it had flown some 1200 flights between Doha and its network of 150-plus destinations worldwide. Qatar Airways also announced new routes to Dublin, Ireland, Nice, France, and Skopje, Macedonia. Rio de Janeiro is also on the plans for this or next year.
