Agribusiness sales to the Arabs increased by 39%
Exports to the region yielded US$ 615.5 million in the first two months of the year, and US$ 266 million in February alone. The largest importers were Saudi Arabia, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, Syria and Algeria. Main products exported were meats, sugar, coffee, forestry products and live cattle.
