Brasília – Expecting to conclude the 23 airport concession auctions, Brazilian president Jair Bolsonaro highlighted this Monday (18) on Twitter the raising of BRL 3.5 billion (USD 950 million) in investments in 12 terminals forecast for the next month.
“Consisting of the airports in Recife (photo above), Maceió, Aracaju, Juazeiro do Norte, João Pessoa, Campina Grande, Vitória, Macaé, Cuiabá, Sinop, Rondonópoli,s and Alta Floresta,” explained the president.
The goal is part of the action plan for the first 100 days in office, published by the chief of staff Onyx Lorenzony in the end of January. The minister of infrastructure Tarcísio Gomes de Freitas, responsible for the area, had already announced that the process relative to 12 terminals would take place in March 15.
