São Paulo – Bahrain’s sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa was crowned with the gold in the FEI Endurance World Championship, making him the champion of the 160-kilometer race in Abu Dhabi, the United Arab Emirates. He was the representative of His Majesty the King of Bahrain for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs, and the captain of the country’s Royal Endurance team.
During a ceremony held at Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi, the champion was also conferred the gold medal of best team and prize of best condition
The ceremony was also attended by sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS)’s first deputy chairman, the General Sports Authority (GSA)’s chairman and Bahrain Olympic Committee’s president, and other officials.
Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa participated in the crowning of the champions, along with Ahmed Al Raisi, president of the UAE Equestrian and Racing Federation, and International Equestrian Federation president Inmar de Vos.
