Grupo Bandeirantes de Comunicação was honored on the first day of the Global Halal Brazil (GHB) Business Forum on Monday (27) in São Paulo. The Group’s president, João Carlos Saad (pictured), said the company, which includes radio and open and cable TV channels, strives to provide Brazilian society with knowledge and information about the Arab world, its cultures, and wealth. As part of this mission, he highlighted the broadcast of the Saudi Arabian football championship and a partnership signed in 2022 with the United Arab Emirates’ state news agency WAM. Johnny Saad, as he is known, received a commemorative plaque and trophy from the Arab-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce (ABCC) Vice President of Marketing, Silvia Antibas. The forum is organized in partnership between the ABCC and Fambras Halal Certifier.
