São Paulo – In a ruling published this Friday (27) in the Federal Gazette, the Brazilian Ministry of Justice and Public Safety temporarily prohibits entry of non-nationals en route to countries whose borders have been shut down.
“Foreigners of any nationality in international flights will not be allowed to enter Brazil in case their destination country or native country will not allow their entry through air, land or water,” the ruling reads.
According to the Ministry, it is up to airlines to prevent entry.
