São Paulo – Brazil’s exports to Lebanon rose 18.2% year on year to USD 266.1 million so far this year, according to data from Brazil’s Ministry of Development, Industry, Trade and Services compiled by the Market Intelligence Department of the Arab-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce (ABCC). Imports, meanwhile, fell 7.2% to USD 1.1 million.
According to the ministry data, beef is Brazil’s leading export to Lebanon, totaling USD 57.6 million, up 18.9% from the January–June period of last year. Live cattle ranks second, with exports totaling USD 51.5 million, down 1.2% from the same period in 2024. Coffee and sugar are also among Brazil’s top exports to Lebanon. In the opposite direction, Lebanon’s leading exports to Brazil this year are fruit, vegetables and food-processing machinery.
In June alone, Brazil’s exports to Lebanon surged 119.7% year on year to USD 42.4 million. Imports fell 50.8% to USD 141,000 over the same period.
