São Paulo – The Brazilian Ministry of Agriculture and Supply is negotiating the allowance of an additional US$ 14 million for the sanitary inspection budget. The information was released by Roberto Rodrigues, minister of Agriculture, on Friday (25) during the 3rd Brazilian Agribusiness Congress, promoted by the Brazilian Association of Agribusiness (Abag), in São Paulo.
Rodrigues affirmed that, besides the additional budget, 600 more college-graduate technicians will be hired to work in the area.
