The Brazilian minister of Education, Fernando Haddad, will travel to Lebanon and Syria between February 26 and 28 to discuss closer ties in the area of education. In Beirut, he is going to sign, together with the country minister of Education, Khaled Qabbani, an agreement to support the teaching of Arabic, Portuguese, Literature, Archaeology and History at universities in both countries.
