Antonio Sarkis Jr. has a positive evaluation of the business meeting, taking place in the sidelines of the Summit of South American – Arab Countries, due to the presence of a great number of businessmen. A total of 1,250 businessmen from the 34 Arab and South American countries are in Brazilian capital Brasília. According to him, this summit is going to bring both regions even closer together, in the political, cultural and economic areas.
On the first day of the business meeting, businessmen from both regions sought information about the markets and economies of the countries participating in the summit. Inquiries about the foreign investment legislation were frequent on both sides. The search for partners was in the air, and on all tongues. Around 1,250 businessmen went to the Ulysses Guimarães Convention Centre yesterday. The stand of the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce (CCAB) was visited by at least 50 people.
