The Brazilian federal government decided to lift the tariff for purchases of the product from other countries – which was 10% – up until November 30th. The measure is designed to help fight inflation.

The Central Bank forecasts US$ 5.5 billion in inflow into the Brazilian productive sector. In the same period in 2012, the total was US$ 5.8 billion. In 12 months, the value is the highest since December last year.

The World Bank disbursed US$ 9.2 million to finance a project for transparency in the use of public funds, to promote business research and generate jobs. The institution called on governments to make donations.

A study by the National Confederation of Industry shows that the hiring of services from abroad, like foreign consultancy or technical support, is up to 51% more expensive due to taxes for entry into the country.

The Brazilian company has already communicated to the market that it plans to fly to Nigeria. If the project goes ahead, the route will be operated with the fleet of 737 aircraft.
