São Paulo – Enterprise The Wave, in the Omani capital Muscat, won this year’s edition of the International Property Awards in the international architecture category. The real estate industry award is sponsored by TV network CNBC, which specializes in economy and business. The information was disclosed yesterday (3rd) by the project’s press advisory.
According to the release issued by The Wave, the award granting ceremony took place in San Diego, in the United States. The selection was made by 52 judges who scrutinized projects from 207 countries, and 29 final contenders competed against the Omani enterprise.
The Wave is a seafront condominium featuring a resort, housing, a marina, a golf course, three hotels, stores and restaurants. The complex’s architecture has been entrusted to firms Triad Oman International, Alexandros N. Tombazis Associados, from Athens, and E.R. International, based in Rome.
According to the release issued by the enterprise, the architects have designed modern buildings based on the traditional Omani style. So far, according to the release, 900 houses have been built at the complex, out of a total of 4,000.
