Significant growth expected in Brazilian fuel alcohol international trade
Japan has shown interest in increasing import of the Brazilian product, which may generate additional shipping of another 1.8 billion litres per year. Today (09), a Chinese mission is going to meet representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture to discuss the matter. Considering the possibility of the Kyoto Protocol entering into force, various nations have already started adopting programs in which they mix alcohol into petrol.
