São Paulo – The Emirates Arabian Horse Global Cup, a global Arabian horse competition, is expanding internationally and will hold its final in Brazil on November 14 this year, UAE state news agency WAM reported.
It will be the third edition of the cup, which began in January in Australia, has a second stage scheduled in Bahrain on April 25–26, followed by rounds in Morocco on May 9–10. in the United States from September 16–19, in China on October 6–7, and in Italy on November 7–8, in addition to the final in Brazil.
WAM reported that this edition reflects the growing importance of the cup on the international Arabian horse championship circuit and highlights the United Arab Emirates’ leadership in supporting owners and breeders and promoting the breed worldwide.
The Emirates Arabian Horse Global Cup is held under the supervision of Sheikh Zayed bin Hamad Al Nahyan, vice chairman of the Emirates Arabian Horse Society and chairman of the Higher Organizing Committee. The second edition featured 791 horses from 460 participants and awarded 3.986 million dirhams (about USD 1.1 million at current exchange rates) in prize money.
