Brasília – In the second week of the month, the Brazilian trade surplus was US$ 896 million, resulting from US$ 5.635 billion in exports and US$ 4.739 billion in imports, as informed today (16th) by the Brazilian Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade.
The accumulated surplus during the two weeks of November is now US$ 1.325 billion, as a result of US$ 8.840 billion in exports and US$ 7.515 billion in imports.
From January until the second week of November, the trade surplus has reached US$ 15.946 billion, representing a decline of 29.2% over the same period of 2009 (US$ 22.513 billion). As of last week, exports stood at US$ 172.149 billion and imports, at US$ 156.203 billion.
