Riyadh – The crown prince and prime minister of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed bin Salman, received the president of Brazil, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, and his delegation at the royal palace in Riyadh on Tuesday night (28).
At the meeting, the minister of Mines and Energy of Brazil, Alexandre Silveira, and the minister of Energy of Saudi Arabia, Abdulaziz bin Salman, signed an agreement in the sector. More information about the document is expected to be released this Wednesday (29) at the Saudi Arabia-Brazil Business Forum.
Lula is on a bilateral visit to the Saudi capital until tomorrow (29), when he will participate, in addition to the business forum promoted by the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil), in an Embraer seminar.
Representing the Saudi government, the minister of Investment, Khalid Al Falih, will also participate in the events. The Brazilian delegation includes twelve government authorities.

After Riyadh, Lula will head to Doha, the capital city of Qatar, where he will have appointments with local authorities on Wednesday evening and attend an ApexBrasil event with support from the Arab-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce (ABCC) to take place on Thursday (30). On the evening of November 30, the Brazilian president will travel to Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates, where he will stay until December 3, in an intense schedule at the 2023 United Nations Conference on Climate Change (COP28).
He will then travel to Berlin, Germany, on a presidential visit.
