A project to promote exports of medicinal and aromatic plants will bring 14 companies to the country for matchmaking rounds with Brazilian enterprises.

Brazil-based companies which do not export to Arab countries or are looking to expand its business in the region are meeting with Middle East importers at the Arab Brazilian Chamber headquarters.
The Chamber’s CEO, Michel Alaby, is in Cairo to discuss the reactivation of the Brazil-Egypt Business Council, the promotion of a trade mission and increased cooperation with the Arab League.
Importers from the Middle East are in São Paulo to buy food and building material. They spoke to Brazilian companies at the Arab Brazilian Chamber on Monday and Tuesday.
The largest building sector fair in the Middle East should take place from November 25th to 28th in the United Arab Emirates. The Brazilian stand has room for ten companies. Registration is open until July 30th.
Sector industries are developing products with Brazilian flavours for sale on foreign markets. A sector association has developed strategies to promote the product.
Association Abiec, companies and government agencies held a workshop on rising Muslim meat exports, which amounted to US$ 1.5 billion in 2012. Abiec also presented an e-seal to reduce red tape.
The furniture and decoration fair that was promoted in late May, in Dubai, also generated potential business of US$ 2.2 million over the next twelve months. Eight Brazilian companies participated in the event.
The Brazilian IndusParquet is exhibiting at the building product fair in Beirut and has agreed to increase the line of products exported to its dealer in Lebanon. The Brazilian stand is organized by the Arab Chamber.
Erbil International Fair should take place from September 23rd to 26th. The Brazilian pavilion will have space for ten exhibitors. Registration is open until July 15.
Businessmen from five Arab countries should participate in Minas Láctea, a fair to take place from July 16th to 18th, in Juiz de Fora. The sector aims to promote exports.
The Arab Brazilian Chamber opens registration for business roundtables between Brazilian food and building sector companies and importers from the Middle East. The businessmen will also watch Confederations Cup matches.
The Iraqi-born Reyadh Hanna, who took on Brazilian nationality, offers the service to small and medium businesses. The goal is to help them sell to Arab countries by splitting costs. Two companies are already involved.
The meeting on June 13 and 14 will promote existing opportunities in the country and discuss the new legislation on the topic. Brazilians can participate.
