The National Investment Development Agency has launched an online service to simplify the contact between foreign investors and local businessmen. The country offers incentives to attract capital.

The company is considering developing a series of projects in other countries. The most advanced ones are Peru, Mozambique and Nicaragua, and an inquiry was also made for an operation in Egypt.

They already buy around US$ 60 billion a year in food. Wheat is the main import product. The theme was discussed at a meeting of chambers of commerce in Beirut, Lebanon.

An agreement between Brazil and Lebanon aims to make access to immigrants’ information and documents easier. The deal was signed during the Lebanese president Michel Sleiman’s visit to Rio de Janeiro.

Brazilian women’s shoe brands, such as Melissa and Via Uno, are conquering space among Middle Eastern consumers with exclusive design and strong colours. Both plan to grow on the market in 2010.
