If it is up to the Association of Livestock Breeders and Dairy Producers of Vale do Ribeira, domestic consumers and, in the long run, foreign ones should start drinking buffalo milk for breakfast.

A survey disclosed today by the Getúlio Vargas Foundation shows that the sector’s growth projection for 2010-2012 is 23.8%, a figure higher than last year’s 2008-2010 forecast, which was 21.2%.

Despite the crisis, the state-owned oil company ended last year with a net profit of US$ 16.1 billion. From January until December 2009, the total output of oil and natural gas equivalent rose by 5%.

The search for executives in Brazil has risen in 2009 as against the previous year, according to a study by consultancy company DBM. This took place due to growth of the Brazilian economy.
