São Paulo – March 2 to 5 in Egypt will see Ceramica Market & Expo B2B, a ceramic and sanitary ware trade show. This year, the goal is to steer importers toward locally-made product. The event was first held last year and it targets the general public.
Exhibitors will be showing porcelain items, water filters, tubs, showers and shower doors, bowls, hot tubs, taps and bathroom decoration items. The expo will take place in Nasr City, near Cairo.
Organizers intent to welcome building industry professionals, including real estate developers, hotel operators, interior designers, architects, consultants, engineers and other parties interested in using products made in Egypt in their building projects, or selling them in overseas stores.
According to the organizers, the exhibition is a good opportunity to place Egyptian-made items to projects in African countries such as Sudan, Chad, Rwanda, Ethiopia and Kenya.
Brazilian imports of ceramic items from Egypt reached a meager USD 73,000 in 2016, down 33.18% in 2015.
