São Paulo – The delegation of Middle East importers who spent the week in São Paulo attending a business matchmaking event and visiting enterprises and organizations has wrapped up its schedule this Friday (13th). The mission was part of a Buyer Project targeting the food industry, organized by the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce and the Brazilian Export and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex).
The group’s final appointment, this Friday afternoon, was a meeting with the Arab Brazilian Chamber CEO Michel Alaby, at the organization’s headquarters. Alaby inquired each of the delegation members about their opinions on the visit, and asked for suggestions for eventual improvements in the future. The general assessment was positive, and the businessmen are leaving Brazil with good perspectives of turning the contacts made with suppliers into actual deals.
In the morning the delegation visited the Federation of Muslim Associations in Brazil Brasil (Fambras) and the meat packing company Marfrig. The schedule comprised two days of business matchmaking rounds, at the Arab Brazilian Chamber, at two days for technical visits.
