São Paulo – A Libyan high-level delegation on a visit to Morocco invited local businessmen to take part in the reconstruction of Libya. Last year, the latter country was haunted by a civil conflict that put an end to Muamar Gaddafi’s dictatorship regime. The information was disclosed this Friday (13th) by the African news agency Panapress.
The Libyans attended a meeting, in Casablanca, with the Moroccan Exporters Association (ASMEX, in the French acronym). According to Panapress , the delegation stressed that there is a pressing need, in Libya, for airport infrastructure work, purchase of military garment, medication and other items.
According to the news agency, the ASMEX informed that Libya has always attracted the interest of Moroccan exporters, and that the association is willing to work in order to resume trade and investment. The association should send a mission to Libya in March.
