São Paulo – Machinery and equipment exports from Brazil fetched USD 607.23 million in February, the Brazilian Machinery and Equipment Industry Association (Abimaq) reported this Wednesday (29). The result is up 4.2% from February 2016, and up 36.2% from January 2017.
Despite the improved result, year-to-date numbers remain negative. In January and February combined, revenue from Brazilian machinery exports was 3.6% weaker than in the comparable year-ago period at USD 1.053 billion.
