São Paulo – Somalia’s Council of Ministers approved the creation of the Halmeel Unified Services Center, which will overhaul public service delivery by digitizing and streamlining it. The state news agency Sonna said the approval took place during the council’s weekly session this Thursday (23).
The center will operate under the Prime Minister’s Office and will be mandated to consolidate, standardize, and significantly modernize the delivery of all federal public services, eliminating bureaucratic inefficiencies and functioning as a one-stop shop. The initiative will promote data integration across public agencies, ensuring that citizens no longer need to submit the same information to multiple government bodies.
