Royal Air Maroc announced it will begin operating a fifth weekly frequency on the Brazil–Morocco route starting October 28.

The Moroccan carrier’s direct flights between São Paulo and Casablanca offer a premium seat option in Economy Class on the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner. The company is already planning to operate daily flights on this route by 2028.

Route between Casablanca and Rio de Janeiro will begin operating in 2027. By the end of this year, São Paulo will gain another weekly flight to Morocco.
Located in Casablanca, the unit will dismantle end-of-life vehicles and foster the circular economy. The group already operates a similar center in Osasco, Brazil.
The airline’s regional director for Latin America, Othman Baba, says the company is expected to increase the frequency between Casablanca and São Paulo by the end of this year.
The airline says the route schedule was designed to serve travelers departing from Brazil seeking to reach Lebanon faster than alternative routes. Operations begin in April.
By adding a fourth weekly flight between Casablanca and São Paulo, Royal Air Maroc says its expansion in Brazil is strengthened by a partnership with Embratur and GRU Airport.
The Moroccan carrier will target businesses and client-facing professionals with further actions during the second half of the year amid its ongoing expansion plan for Brazil.
At the LIDE Brazil-Morocco Forum, CEO Abdelhamid Addou said the airline will have six weekly flights to São Paulo in 2026 and will expand its fleet.

Starting in December, the airline will operate four weekly flights between Casablanca and São Paulo. The expansion plan also includes flying to Rio de Janeiro.
The country aims to welcome 30 million tourists by 2030 and is counting on an increase in Brazilian arrivals to help meet that goal. Direct flights are expected to gain more weekly frequencies by the end of the year.
