São Paulo – On December 12th, the company Carona Cultural will offer the second edition of its Presença Cultural Árabe (Arab Cultural Presence) tour in São Paulo, covering the main Arab-influenced destinations in the city.
The tour, organized in partnership with the Institute of Arab Culture, celebrates the 132nd anniversary of Arab immigration to Brazil. The route includes visits to historical, architectural, artistic and gastronomic spots such as the Orthodox Cathedral, mosque Mesquita Brasil, the Arab hall at Club Homs, and the food manufacturer and store Maxifour.
The tour costs R$ 120 (roughly US$ 57 at current exchange rates) and includes transportation, a guide, and lunch at the Arab restaurant Casa Líbano (beverages and dessert not included). The route begins at 9h30 am at the Orthodox Cathedral (Vergueiro Street, 1515) and the vehicle used is an executive van.
