The Foreign Relations vice president at the Arab Brazilian Chamber was invited by the World Muslim League to become a member of the executive board for the International Meeting of Muslim Scholars and Thinkers. The meeting was designed for worldwide intellectual authorities to discuss the directions of Muslim society. Artist Ali Cherri, who holds a degree in Graphic Design, is currently in São Paulo, by invitation of the Armando Álvares Penteado Foundation, to finish editing a video about the recent war in Lebanon, and to relate some of his experience to students and teachers at the institution. Cherri wants to return to Lebanon in late March with the finished work in hand.
