São Paulo – The president of the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce (CCAB), Antônio Sarkis Jr., stated this morning, during the seminar opening the Brazil-Arab Countries Business Meeting in São Paulo, that the organization "is going to spare no effort" to increase economic and business relations between Brazil and the Arab countries.
"Our perspective is that these relations should increase and the Chamber is going to spare no effort to reach this objective," declared Sarkis. According to him, the business event organized by the CCAB, which began today (12) and ends tomorrow, will proceed with the works begun at the Summit of South American – Arab Countries, which ended yesterday in Brazilian capital Brasília.
According to Sarkis, the summit was the result of the "great efforts" made by president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva "to bring together developing countries." "If we act together, the gain will be greater than if we act alone," he said.
On ending his address, the CCAB president declared that the event that began today "should play an important part in the integration between Brazil and the Arab countries and should be translated into greater trade, more investment and more business."
