São Paulo – The Brazilian Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply has allocated R$ 201.5 million (US$ 50.7 million) for financing coffee crops, including input purchases, labor, equipment operation, herbicide application etc. The funds will be available from the coffee industry fund Fundo de Defesa da Economia Cafeeira (Funcafé) via the banks Banco do Brasil, Rabobank, Coopacredi, Credivar and Bradesco.
