Exports to Arab countries beat records in the 1st half
Revenues from shipments to the region went up 76% and reached almost US$ 1.86 billion in the first six months of the year. In June, shipments yielded US$ 442.5 million, 170% more than in the same months in 2003. According to Paulo Atallah, president of the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce, these are historical records.
