São Paulo – The leather division of JBS group got maximum grade from the Leather Working Group (LWG), an international organisation established by some of the main brands worldwide, like Nike, Adidas, Puma and Timberland, aiming at promoting efficient and sustainable practices in the global leather industry.
LWG granted the grade after concluding auditing works throughout December. The evaluation included 14 of the company’s leather units and all of them got the gold medal, the highest possible grade granted by the organisation. The information was disclosed by JBS.
