São Paulo – The Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) and the Emirates Foundation, based in the United Arab Emirates, will hold a conference on philanthropy next Tuesday (12th) and Wednesday (13th), in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the Middle Eastern country.
According to information from the OECD, the Emirates Foundation Annual Philanthropy Summit will be themed “Philanthropy in Transition.” The goal is to discuss how philanthropic funds can be used more efficiently in creating “sustainable socioeconomic value.”
The meeting aims to explore new forms of philanthropy focusing on entrepreneurship among youths, and new initiatives which have been successful in addressing old problems. At the Summit, the OECD will hold a pre-launch of a report on philanthropy and entrepreneurship.
