São Paulo – The São Paulo Stock Exchange (Bovespa) saw a R$ 133.21 billion (US$ 42.4 bn) turnover in June, against R$ 144.01 bn (US$ 45.8 bn) in May, it reported this Friday (3rd). Daily average trading reached R$ 6.34 bn (US$ 2 bn) last month, and R$ 7.2 billion (US$ 2.2 bn) in the preceding month.
Ibovespa, the primary index, was up 0.6% to 53,080 points. The stocks whose prices climbed the most were Marfrig ON, Cielo ON, Energias BR ON, Tim Participações ON and Banco do Brasil ON. Usiminas PNA, Gerdau Metais PN, Oi PN, Marcopolo ON and Cemig PN lost the most value.
The top-selling stocks were Petrobras PN, ItauUnibanco PN, Vale PNA, Bradesco PN and Petrobras ON.
