São Paulo – This Monday (29th), the central São Paulo-based Brazil Mosque has issued a call for donations of clothes and blankets in good state to distribute to needy people.
According to the mosque, the action was prompted by the “sharp decline in temperature” seen in the past few days, which has made this “one of the coldest winters of the past few decades” in the city.
Donations are to be sent directly to the mosque, at Rua Barão de Jaguara, 632, on the corner with Avenida do Estado, in the Cambuci neighbourhood of São Paulo.
