Arabs from countries like Palestine and Saudi Arabia are exhibiting in sectors where Brazil is not self-sufficient: dates and olive oils.

While visiting date processing facilities in the state of São Paulo, Saudi entrepreneurs say they can supply the Brazilian market with the product and help popularize date consumption in the country.

International Relations and Business Administration undergraduates from Mauá Institute of Technology attended presentations about Arab countries during a visit to the headquarters of the Arab-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce on Friday (4) in São Paulo.

During a visit to the Arab country, the Secretary-General of the Arab-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce, Mohamad Mourad, met with local businesspeople and government representatives with support from the Brazilian embassy in Bahrain.

Brazilian food products saw high demand at the Dubai trade fair, which concluded on Friday (21). The global landscape is driving the search for new suppliers, which has contributed to the strong performance. The Arab-Brazilian Chamber took 12 members.
