The event, whose objective is to generate awareness of desertification, is going to count on exhibitions and presentations from 25 countries.

The coordinator of the Theatre of the Oppressed, Bárbara Santos, gave a workshop to Sudanese actors in November. The Palestinians used the method four years and are going to promote in 2007 a festival using the guidelines developed by the Brazilian playwright.
