For over 20 years the malleable iron fittings made by Tupy have been used in irrigation systems in the United Arab Emirates, Jordan and Syria. The company, with units in the states of Santa Catarina (southern Brazil) and São Paulo (in the southeast of the country), is the leader in the Brazilian pipe fitting market and exports to around 40 countries.

Company Romagnole, a maker of hardware for electric networks, based in the southern Brazilian state of Paraná, has revenues of US$ 1 million with exports to Saudi Arabia and intends to seek new clients in the region. The company produces 1,600 tonnes of galvanized metal products a month.
