The operation is part of a project agreed on by the president of the Brazilian Export Promotion Agency (Apex), Juan Quirós, and Brazilian ambassador in England José Mauricio F. Bustani, last Friday (23).
Two Colors, made up of eight small clothes companies in the state of São Paulo, wants to export between US$ 600,000 and 700,000 in 2004. The consortium, which counts on Apex support, will be participating in a trade mission to five European countries (Portugal, Spain, Germany, France, and Italy) this week.
The state was responsible for 38% of all Brazilian export to the region in 2003. Among the main clients are Egypt, and the United Arab Emirates.
