São Paulo – The fair Paperworld Middle East will take place in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, from March 1st to 6th. Focused on the stationery sector, the event is in its sixth edition and in 2015 received the visit of more than 6,000 visitors from 115 countries.
The fair brings together companies that manufacture articles such as cards, calendars, office supplies and furniture, writing and drawing instruments, printing paper, envelopes, albums, diaries, notebooks, books, folders, backpacks, printer cartridges and accessories, among others.
In the 2015 edition, the fair had 296 exhibitors from 42 countries. According to a survey done by the event’s organization, 85% of them declared themselves satisfied or extremely satisfied with the results brought by their participation in the fair.
The fair is open only to business visitors. The majority of them are distributors, wholesalers, importers and exporters from the sector. In all, 78% of the visitors come from the Middle East.
The countries with the most visitors in the last edition of Paperworld Middle East were the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, India, Iran, Kuwait, Pakistan, Jordan, Oman, Egypt and Qatar.
Up until the deadline of this report, the event’s website indicated that there were openings for registration still. Prices start at USD 405 per square meter for a space with a stand already set up.
