São Paulo – Brazilian planemaker Embraer posted higher revenue, profit and aircraft deliveries in the second quarter of this year compared with the same period last year. According to the company’s earnings report released on Monday (10), revenue totaled BRL 11.3 billion (USD 2.08 billion) between April and June, up 10% from the same period in 2025. Second-quarter net profit rose 25% year-on-year to BRL 1.1 billion (USD 216 million).
The company also reported an increase in aircraft deliveries, totaling 65, including 20 commercial jets and 45 business jets, up 7% from the 61 aircraft delivered in the second quarter of last year. Revenue from the defense and security segment rose 22% to BRL 1.5 billion (USD 295 million), while executive aviation revenue increased 19% to BRL 3.7 billion. Commercial aviation revenue, however, fell 2% to BRL 3.2 billion (USD 628 million).
In its earnings statement, the company said tax credits, tariff exemptions and an improved business outlook prompted it to raise its full-year guidance.
“From now on, our outlook for year-end 2026 is for adjusted EBIT margin of between 10% and 10.6% (up from the previous range of 8.7% to 9.3%) and adjusted free cash flow excluding Eve of USD 400 million or more (up from the previous forecast of USD 200 million or more),” Embraer said in the statement.
EBIT, or earnings before interest and taxes, is a measure of a company’s operating profit before interest expenses and taxes. It reflects the profitability of its core business operations.
The company’s delivery outlook remained unchanged at 80 to 85 commercial jets and 160 to 170 business aircraft. Embraer’s order backlog stands at USD 34.5 billion.
