São Paulo – This Monday (15th), Embraer announced that its firm order backlog has reached US$ 17.1 billion on June 30, i.e. the end of quarter two. According to the company, this is the highest figure since quarter three, 2009. Compared with the company’s backlog by the end of quarter three, 2013, the value has increased by US$ 3.8 billion.
The company has orders placed for 366 commercial aircraft, including 100 model E175-E2 units, of the company’s second generation E-Jets, launched in the first half this year. The order was placed by the United States-based Skywest.
Embraer delivered 51 aircraft in quarter two, including commercial and executive jets. In the first half, the company delivered 80 units.
