São Paulo – Abu Dhabi’s Etihad Airways has announced this Monday (22nd) the addition of two sales representatives to its commercial team in Brazil. One will work from Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, and the other from Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais.
According to a press release from Etihad, the new representative in Porto Alegre will supervise sales in the south of Brazil. The one in Belo Horizonte will be in charge of business in Minas Gerais and in Brazil’s south, northeast and midwest. In the press release, Etihad’s general manager for Brazil, Christophe Didier, said the enlarged “sales force” reflects the importance of the Brazilian market to the airline.
Etihad started flying to Brazil in June of last year and flies daily between Abu Dhabi and São Paulo. With the two new representatives hired, the company now has 40 employees in Brazil.
