Brazilian companies of the sector increased their foreign sales in August, especially of computer products, telecommunications and industrial automation. Year-to-date, sales are still on the decline.

Such is the rate projected by the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) for the twelve months ended September. Inflation reached 0.23% so far this month, and 5.9% year-to-date.
