São Paulo – Fimec, a fair in the leather and shoe component sector, began last Tuesday (12) in Novo Hamburgo, Rio Grande do Sul, expecting to receive a great number of foreign visitors. The fair should also include exhibitors from other countries, according to figures disclosed by organizers.
This is the 37th edition of the fair, to count on 1,200 brands. The fair should go on up to March 15th. "Apart from being the only event in the world in which it is possible to learn tendencies and novelties for all sectors, Fimec consolidates its strength in the international scenery with each year,” said Elivir Desiam, CEO at the fair promoter Fenac.
Among the exhibitors from abroad, there will be companies from Germany, Argentina, Italy, Colombia and France, to be present with several tanneries through the Fédération Française de La Tannerie Mégisserie. Also confirmed are exhibitors from Japan, China, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, the Netherlands, Spain and Uruguay, among others.
