São Paulo – Machinery and equipment exports from Brazil grossed US$ 791 million in February, down 24.5% from February 2014. The figures were released last Wednesday (25th) by the Brazilian Machinery and Equipment Industry Association (Abimaq).
Brazil’s machinery and equipment imports also dropped, by 17.3% to US$ 1.824 billion year-on-year in February. In February from January this year, exports were 0.9% higher and imports were 30.3% lower.
